- International Innovation Management Program (M.A./MBA)
Our INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (M.A./MBA) is your ideal career start. By working on challenging real case projects you can develop your own competences and become capable junior managers.
The program participants work full-time as management assistants in companies and attend at the same time a two-year interactive online study program from SIBE and Post University.
SIBE is specialized in cooperating with enterprises to create sustainable growth through successful implementation of innovation projects. The topics of the innovation projects might be market development, digitalization, corporate foresight, logistic management, etc.
The M.A. in General Management from SIBE is premium accredited by FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) and entitles to start a doctorate. The MBA from Post University is ASCSB accredited.
- The duration of study is 24 months.
- Degrees: Master of Arts in General Management (M.A.) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). You will receive 120 Credit Points (European Credit Transfer System) in total.
- The M.A./MBA is conducted entirely in English.
- 100% online (asynchronous, interactive), independent of time and place.

The program is organized in 17 courses plus the Master’s Thesis. In the beginning of each course, the students have access to the entire course, its structure, learning objective, assessments, tasks and assessment criteria. During the two-year program the company and the management assistant work together on the innovation project. Typical projects are in the area of market development, digitalization or corporate foresight, etc.
The interactive online seminars provide the methodological expertise of international management. They provide the methodological skills for the creation and analysis of business plans and the implementation according to the company needs.
SIBE provides personal support by project lecturers for the whole two years. The project lecturers help to transfer knowledge into practice through coaching. Also, they support the students with their project development, definition, placement and implementation phases in the company.
Certainly, the study program requires that the students acquire new knowledge and provide a proof of performance. However, since actual competence is more important for a successful career and job development than passing exams in a study program, we have designed the program accordingly.
This means, that the study program does not use written tests to evaluate hard fact knowledge, but it rather evaluates the level of ability to correctly use and apply knowledge in real-world situations. Therefore, the students develop problem solutions and process tasks in form of presentations, Transfer Papers (TP), Transfer Documentation Reports (TDR) and Management Project Papers (MPP) for their innovation project and Master’s Thesis.
Candidates should fulfill the following criteria:
- High motivation for the program
- First degree of minimum Bachelor’s level from a state recognized university
- Minimum 180 Credit Points (ECTS) or international equivalent
- Very good English skills
- Successful passing of SIBE’s selection procedure that includes an online conducted assessment and the online conducted competence “KODE®-Test”

We review the application material and verify if the applicants fulfill the formal admission requirements. We inform the applicants about the result. If they pass this step, the applicants will be invited to an online assessment center for the program, at the end of which they will have the opportunity to personally ask questions. The applicants are free to decide if they want to go on with their application or not.

- Salary for the management assistant: free to negotiate (however a minimum of € 1,400 per month in case of an employment in Germany)

The International Innovation Management Program offers digital natives with a first academic degree from all backgrounds a chance to work on one or several innovative real world projects within a German company. The project work is integrated in the International Innovation Management Program (M.A./MBA) studies of SIBE crosscutting such disciplines as informatics, economics and leadership.
Our International Innovation Management Program – Digitalization is a two-year program with 120 Credit Points, covering relevant fields of General Management and Digitalization (such courses as economics, business analytics, integrated marketing communication, financial tools for managers, applied research, foresight management, etc.). It is conducted 100 % in English language and 100 % online. The content, supervision and support is managed by lecturers from SIBE and Post University (USA) and Data Analysis practitioners. Students work in international groups and process real case data analysis projects during the entire study time.

For a company there are different reasons to go global: to develop new markets with existing products, to be close to the customer, or to eliminate capacity barriers. SIBE is the competent partner for successful market entry and development abroad.
Companies with international business relationships are more successful than those with limited markets to operate. As clearly shown in the results of the long-term study »Success factors of German companies abroad« next to the product quality, selecting the right partner and good contacts/networks are essential factors for a successful business abroad. Moreover, a good knowledge of the market as well as qualified employees are of great importance for half of the interviewed companies. The SIBE program fits precisely to the primary needs of small and medium sized enterprises. International candidates explore market opportunities for their company and develop strategies to support the internationalization process. During the 24-month study program, they make use of the methodological input, e.g. in regards to market analysis, and apply it hands on to their real-world company project.
The Perspective Program offers refugees with an academic degree from all backgrounds a chance to gain a Master’s degree as well as work experience with a German company over the period of 24 months. The participants of the Perspective Program work full-time within a company on projects that fit to their background. SIBE will coach and support them to tackle their personal career goals and to develop their competencies for the benefit and success of their partner company. The studies are conducted in English, but optionally there can be German classes to improve the possibilities of the participants. As it is an online program, students can take part from wherever there is internet access.
