Why did you choose the LL.M. program at SIBE and to whom would you particularly recommend the program?

I primarily chose SIBE’s LL.M. program out of two reasons. Firstly, the program allowed for a high degree of independence in planning my studies. This autonomy also meant I could study remotely.

Additionally, I have always had a passion for writing – be it judicial articles, blogs, or academic papers. Thus, the program’s emphasis on writing scholarly papers as part of the study project was therefore particularly attractive to me. This, coupled with the opportunity to engage in diverse discussions in the Discussion Forum and pursue an individualized Law Project for a specialized LL.M. degree, made the program an ideal choice.

After graduation, did you benefit from the contacts you made or interactions you had during your SIBE studies?

Absolutely, the networking opportunities offered by SIBE’s LL.M. program have been immensely beneficial. A significant connection I made during my time at SIBE was meeting Dr. Kurzböck, who is now my superior at Rödl & Partner. This relationship, forged during my studies, has greatly influenced my professional trajectory post-graduation.
