„I gained many insights from my fellow students‘ projects, challenges, and solutions“

Feedback on SIBE’s Project Network event from our SIBE-Management-Master candidate Moritz Scheve.

Mr. Moritz Scheve started the M.Sc. in International Management study program in cooperation with Mercedes-AMG GmbH in November 2021.

Quite unsure about what SIBE’s Project Network event will offer me, I arrived prepared with a problem from my daily work at the SHMT in Stuttgart. After presenting my problem to my fellow students and Prof. Mergenthaler in an open and informal atmosphere, we discussed possible solutions in the group. In the end, I was amazed. Due to SIBE’s Project Network event format, my work-related problem, which I had considered unsolvable, slowly became tangible through the group’s ideas and exchanges with the others. I also gained many insights from my fellow students‘ projects, challenges, and solutions. In addition, I had the opportunity to think about other companies‘ problems with only a five-minute introduction, which was a bit challenging but fun. Generally, this exercise helped me to improve my problem-solving competencies. My three biggest takeaways were tips for my project, suggestions from other projects, and interesting general information about studying at SIBE. I highly enjoyed the event and meeting new people.

Overall, I recommend SIBE’s Project Network event to anyone who wants to exchange ideas and challenges in their project in an open, informal, and inspirational atmosphere. Because no matter in which companies and departments we are working as students, we all have the same goal: to complete our job-integrated master’s degree successfully. Therefore, we all face similar situations and can help each other out.
